A Soldier's Sacrifice
The desirable size of the U.S. armed forces has become a topic of national concern. The U.S. military's ability to field sufficient, high quality, well-equipped forces is at a tipping point. In fact, the army has issued "Stop Loss" orders that have prohibited thousands of soldiers at the end of their enlistment obligations from leaving. This Stop Loss Policy has raised much concern as well as controversy within the United States. Many military officials feel this policy is necessary in order to win this particular war. While others feel this policy raises a great deal of ILLEGAL trepidation.
I strongly feel that this Stop Loss Policy should be specifically stated in every soldier's enlistment contract. So that they know what they may encounter while serving our country. Furthermore, I strongly believe that if this policy is indeed implemented it shall be optional to soldiers. After all they have served their duty, we should not burden them with more.
SO TAKE A STAND FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN!!
